'Petrichor' explores the use of acrylic paint, gold alcohol ink, spry paint, and em broidery thread. This original artwork takes inspiration from the fresh and revitalising smell of rain, petrichor. ‘Petrichor’ originates from the Greek roots ‘petra,’ meaning stone, and ‘ichor,’ the golden fluid coursing through the veins of immortals in Greek mythology.
